if you ever thought what it was like to watch a movie that would not exactly have the most wholesome and happy vibe to it. However it was the type of movie that provides the legit contrast that will really let you look into life as how it is with you yourself. Ryan Bingham as George Clooney truly shows you how his life is and the way that you really want your life to be as meaningful and filled with the smaller simpler things of love and family.
This isn’t exactly my favorite film that i’ve seen, but it was the most recent one that I have seen since it was just monday. In pasadena so it was pretty awesome to watch something in Pasadena… even though it did make me foster the worst for the police and how they love to write out parking tickets… Seriously I know the police are there to protect and serve… but seriously cops are just writing tickets like no other to provide income for the government and city and departments. It’s so sad that they are like glorified meter maids with a gun and handcuffs. I wonder when the last time the police have done some real good rather then mess with college students, giving out tickets or speeding traps in UCSD or hassling some drunk college students. (don’t condone passing out all the time or what not, but there are better things for them to be doing late at night).
Anyways after that dissertation, I’d have to say Up in the Air is definitely something unique to watch and is a very different feel from most movies that have been released. Since it is the director of Juno and you know what that means as well as the “Thank you for Smoking” which definitely will toss something different at you. Life is precious and I would say that you don’t want to make life all about accomplishments or money or material things. Those things are good. And it’s not even just about the material but our ambitions and what we hope to accomplish. It’s good to have goals and want some success in your future, but sometimes the most ordinary things like a wife, family, some friends or a sense of belonging is definitely somehting to look for. It may seem so simple and something to settle for in life but it’s hard to work for and to really make things work and to fill a house with love and make relationships meaningful with memories that bring back smiles. Sometimes the best things are the simplest.
Anyways peep Up In the Air if your down for those types of movies or if you want to see somehting unique. but see it mattinnee or student rice for sure…. but yeah i also movie hopped and peeped “the princess and the frog”… a little too much song but you need to throw it back to your little days with disney movies… pretty funny but not nearly as “inappropriate” or stuff that i thought grown ups would find too funny… does do alotta black stereo typing though so yeah.
